October Events

Newberg, OR often has some great weather in October. And that’s a good thing because there is a lot happening this month!

Throughout the month we’ll have live bluegrass music at Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery, a local favorite. You can even bring an instrument and join in!

There are also plenty of cultural events this month, including the First Friday Art Walk in Newberg, and Dundee’s Vino & Vibes on the third Thursday. The Fall Concert Series will be featuring Lena’s Piano Family, and there will be six days of the Art Harvest Studio Tour of Yamhill County.

With the Soroptomist Soup’s On Fall Fundraiser and the 51st annual auction by the Newberg Rotary Club, there will be plenty of opportunities to also give back to the community. (And don’t forget, there will also plenty of food and fun at these events!)

For something a little more light-hearted, the Chehalem Cultural Center will be presenting Casablanca Night of the Moon. There’s comedy night at Chehalem Valley Brewing, and this month, Chehalem Valley Vaudeville is presenting A Very Scary Vaudeville in the Black Box Theatre (also at the Chehalem Cultural Center).

And speaking of Scary…there’s also Trick or Treat Street sponsored the Newberg Downtown Coalition

And lastly, for you sports fans, don’t forget we have some great football coming up later in the month as the George Fox University Bruins host Willamette University and Pacific Lutheran.
