November Events in Newberg, OR

November in Newberg is packed with lots of activities. We’ll get to them, but first….

OK, so now we’ve ensured you won’t show up an hour too early for anything, there’s a lot packed into the first week of November that you don’t want to miss.

For some community theatre action, there is The Potting Shed at George Fox University and/or Hello Dolly at the Newberg High School, both showing the 2nd through the 4th.

Join the fun every Thursday (except Thanksgiving) at Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery as they host live bluegrass music.

Elementary school-age kids can learn to play chess on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays at the Newberg Public Library.

Artist Block Wine in Dundee is hosting Film Foodie Fridays each week where you can enjoy a ‘throwback film paired with a tasting menu’. Check out their web page for more info on what movies are showing when.

Pulp & Circumstance’s Holiday Open House, Hazel’s House Rescue Holiday Bazaar, and CPRD’s Fall Bazaar and Craft Fair will help you get a jump on that holiday shopping.

There’s alway plenty to do at the Chehalem Cultural Center, and November is no exception. After the First Friday Art Walk on the 2nd, you can top off the evening with a FREE jazz concert. Dia De los Muertos is also on the 2nd. The CCC will also be hosting a culinary workshop with Heather Ciprani, the Community Wellness Collective sponsored by the Newberg City Club, and the Fall Concert Series featuring acoustic guitarist Hiroya Tsukamoto.

The Young Professionals of Yamhill County are going strong and will have a networking event on the 7th at Oregon Sports and Family Chiropractic in Newberg.

On the 11th, George Fox University will close out their football season as they host Pacific University. Come on out and support the Bruins!

And to wrap up the month, Dundee will be holding their ‘Dundee Third ThursdayVino & Vibes event on-you guessed it-the FIFTH Thursday (the 30th).

And perhaps the most important event of the month is Veterans Day, Saturday the 11th. Thank you veterans for your service, and for the many sacrifices you have made to keep our community, and our country, safe.

For more detail on these events, check out our recent video.
